"Russia's Aggression Against Ukraine: Legal Aspects" - a new research project
Since 2014, we have observed an escalation of Russia's aggression towards Ukraine, which on February 24, 2022, turned into an open armed conflict. In response to these events, we have initiated a research project aimed at analyzing the legal aspects of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
This project, carried out by an international team of experts, focuses on several key areas:
1. Assessment of Russia's actions in light of international law: We are examining Russia's actions for compliance with international law, including the identification of potential perpetrators of war crimes.
2. Analysis of the legal status and protection of Ukrainian citizens: We focus on the legal aspects of protecting Ukrainian citizens in the face of conflict.
3. Evaluation of the European Union's migration policy: We analyze how the EU's migration policy affects the situation and its consequences in the context of the conflict.
4. Research on disinformation and misinformation: We are also addressing the issue of disinformation and misinformation, which affect the perception of the conflict.
Our team collaborates with scientists from Poland, Ukraine, and other countries to provide reliable and objective expertise. The results of our research will be published on our website and on social media.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland.
